Another cat pic

Sargie, look at the Camera phone! THE CAMREA PHONE!! I think she's looking at something else. (but she IS purring)

Remember that traffic light near the Pepsi plant? Well, somebody actually re-erected it. Cool, huh? They didin't even replace it, they just put it back up. You can see the leftover parts on the ground, AND, you can see it's the same light, cuz it is STILL chewed up looking on the closeup.

Nearby, we FINALLY find out what our Gas Tax Dollars do. That's right! It's the Union City trail shortcut!!
Now I can see some value in this, cuz trails are cool...BUT, I'd rather see our Gas Tax Dollars spent on things like affordable (but full sized) housing, and the good ol' standby: Schools. Or, maybe even the space program! Hope they can launch the shuttle this weekend! Go NASA Go!

I am the last one!

Pic of the ol' UA theater. I think it was the last Hayward cinema to get shut down. It's actually the only multiplex left standing, as Festival ain't there no more. (will soon be a Target) And Southland turned into mini-stores, I believe. Will have to pedal over there and take a pic.
Anyway, it's been an empty lot for a while. Good back allys to shoot movie scenes in....But I wouldn't know about that. I wonder what's inside there now?

Bike Ride 6-19-06

This is basically at the San Leandro Marina park. And the mud I encountered on the way there. Does the helment make my head look chubby? Hmm...

I was surprised. Cuz I haven't really rode the bike since...Thursday? And that wasn't that long of a ride. Friday, Saturday, Sunday I did no riding at all, cuz I was visiting my sister in LA. I didn't even feel like riding today...I was gonna just chill. But I went on with it, felt great, and kept pedalling. Next thing I know I'm in San Leandro.
Now, mind you it's not all sprinting or anything. But it makes me breath heavy. Know what else does that??
